Monpazier & Place des Cornières
Founded in 1284, Monpazier brings together an ordered medieval street plan, a central square and covered arcades. Start with the square, explore the side streets, then choose a café or a place for lunch. A short visit fits comfortably around time at the house.

The Bastideum

Château de Biron

A gabarre cruise from Beynac
See the valley from a traditional-style river boat with a commented trip. Gabarres de Beynac describes a circuit of around 50 minutes, offering a seated way to enjoy the scenery. Exploring the upper part of Beynac afterwards involves a different level of walking.

Cadouin Abbey & cloister
Cadouin’s cloister is known for its flamboyant Gothic architecture and its place within the heritage of the Santiago de Compostela pilgrimage routes. Pair the visit with time in the village for an afternoon focused on architecture and atmosphere.

Can we combine several major attractions in one day?
Choose one main attraction, then add lunch and a nearby stop only if it suits your pace. Castelnaud, Milandes and Marqueyssac are alternatives for a valley day; visiting all three can leave little time to enjoy them.
